ENTER THE DRAGON! CHARPAK ARE WINNERS!

52 teams drawn from businesses and clubs across the region took part in a charity "Dragon Boat Festival" on the River Nene to raise money for the Peterborough Sports Foundation.


Charpak's team of 16 won all of their 3 heats and then came first in the final, enabling our Technical Director and "paddler", Gary Smith, to collect the overall winners' team trophy - a "Dragon Boat in a Bottle"! Each team member also received a winner's medal and all staff who attended had a really enjoyable day.

Good team spirit is an essential element in Charpak's quest for excellence in customer service, but even we were surprised at the high level of motivation - which resulted in a few aching limbs the next day!
